Natural timber tables, leather sofas and armchairs in the living areas. It's hard to go past a Chesterfield in the office.
Italian tiles in the wet areas and terracotta in the kitchen and dining rooms. Bedrooms can be either of these or, cork tiles depending on where you are located. Not a fan of carpet these days but, hand woven rugs scattered about are nice. Indirect adjustable lighting is how I like my lighting.
